Russians plan so-called "evacuation" of more than 3,000 workers from the Zaporizhzhia NPP

The press service of Energoatom National Nuclear Power Company State Enterprise has reported that the Russian military is preparing for the so-called "evacuation" of about 3,100 people from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Primarily, it is about 2,700 employees of the plant who signed a contract with the so-called Zaporizhzhia NPP Operating Organisation and another Rosatom company.

"This will exacerbate the already urgent issue of having a sufficient amount of personnel to ensure safe operation of the nuclear power plant even in the current shutdown state," the statement said.

Earlier, Russians announced the so-called "evacuation" in Enerhodar for family members of Zaporizhzhia NPP employees. At the same time, Russians have banned the employees of the power plant from leaving the city.
