Russians make drones using details from Aliexpress

Russians are using engines from the Chinese online retailer Aliexpress to make UAVs that are being used to attack Ukraine. This is not the first time this has happened.

Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Air Force, reported this.

The origin of the engines was identified from the wreckage of the downed drones.

"We can see what these UAVs are made of. In fact, they bought engines from AliExpress, and this is how the enemy will use them. These are strike drones; they carry several kilograms of explosives, so they are dangerous," Ihnat said.
