Russians launch a mortar attack on the Khotin community in the Sumy region. One person died

This community borders Russia. One more person got injured.

Private houses and a farm building were damaged. Overall, Russians shelled the border areas of the region 58 times. Two hundred seventy-five explosions were recorded. The Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, and Seredyna-Buda communities came under attack. 

In the north of Ukraine, the Russian army also attacked two border communities in the Chernihiv region — Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi. There were no casualties.

In the south, Russians attacked the city of Ochakiv and the settlements of the Kutsirib community. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, part of which has been temporarily occupied since 2022, Russians conducted 39 attacks, firing 131 shells from various types of weapons. Residential areas of the settlements in the region and a medical facility were hit. One person was killed, and eight others got injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians attacked communities in the Nikopol district, which borders the temporarily occupied territories across the Dnipro River. A 56-year-old man got injured. He is in moderate condition.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, where the frontline lies, and part of which has been temporarily occupied since 2022, Russians have attacked 18 settlements and conducted 660 strikes. There are 13 reports of residential buildings being destroyed.
