Russians kidnap another ZNPP worker

On June 23, 2023, Russians kidnapped Serhii Poting, a labour protection engineer at ZNPP.

This was reported by Energoatom.

The company says that the ZNPP employee was seen in the so-called "police station", where other plant employees and residents of Enerhodar are also held.

The Russians subjected Serhii Poting to torture. After that, he was sent to the hospital so that he would not die.

Serhii Poting's relatives live in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar and confirm that he is still alive.

"We appeal to the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and the entire international community to make every effort and take all possible measures to release all ZNPP employees held captive by Russian troops," Energoatom added.
