Russians attack two girls in Kherson with a drone
A 12-year-old girl and her 15-year-old sister were injured. They were hospitalised. Three adults who were with the girls sought medical attention.
On the night of June 27, the Air Defence Forces destroyed 23 of 23 Shahed attack drones, four of four Kalibr missiles, and one X-59/X-69 missile. The Russian army also attacked Ukraine with a Kinzhal missile.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians fired guided aerial bombs and artillery at Kharkiv, Derhachi, Male Vesele, and Kupiansk. 13 people were injured, 12 in Derhachi and one in Male Vesele, including three children.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians launched 2,263 attacks on the settlements of Kurakhove, Selydove, Toretsk, Zhelanne, New York, Vovchenka, Komar, Memryk. Myroliubivka, Oleksandropil with artillery, aviation, and guided aerial bombs. Six people were wounded. In Siversk, one person died of injuries as a result of shelling on June 25.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians launched 87 attacks with multiple rocket launchers and artillery at Kuzemivka, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Nevske. According to the regional military administration, there were no civilian casualties.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol and the communities of Marhanets, Pokrovsk and Chervonohryhorivka with artillery and attack drones. An 18-year-old girl was injured.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians launched 295 attacks using aircraft, MLRS, artillery and attack drones on Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Levadne and Robotyne. Six residential buildings were destroyed. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russians shelled the communities of Kutsurub and Ochakiv with artillery. There were no casualties.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Chervonyi Maiak, Mykhailivka, Yantarne, Antonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Beryslav, Sadove, Novokairy, Tomaryne, Kachkarivka, Oleksandrivka, Vesele, Tiahyntka, Olhivka, Ivanivka, Mykolaivka, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Lvove, Osokorivka, Kozatske, and Kherson with artillery and aircraft. Sixteen people were injured in the shelling, and one person was killed.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Snovsk and Semenivka with attack drones, artillery and mortars. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians shelled 20 towns and villages in the communities of Khotin, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Znob-Novgorod. Private houses, beehives, and a bathhouse were damaged. One person died.
