Kharkiv, Ukraine (Svidomi) — On February 9, Russians attacked Kharkiv with Shahed kamikaze drones. The hits were recorded in the Nemyshlianskyi district of the city, Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this.

The attacks caused several large-scale fires — fifteen private residential buildings burned to the ground.

In one of the private houses, a family of five people died in the fire: a husband and wife and their three children: a seven-year-old, four-year-old and seven-month-old boys.

"A family. They were burnt alive. Investigators found that after the shelling, fuel leaked, mixed with snow and spread down the street. The fire broke out in 15 houses. The family was trapped inside their own home. The body of a man was found in the corridor of the house while a mother and her children tried to escape in the bathroom. We don't know where the body of the infant is yet. We are searching for the body," wrote Serhii Bolvinov, Head of the Regional Police Investigation Department.

Their relatives have already been contacted to take DNA samples.

In another house, a 66-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife were killed.

Three other people got injured.
