Russian ships threaten civilian vessels in the Black Sea

Russian ships are threatening civilian vessels sailing to Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea.

The State Border Guard Service published a video in which a Russian ship threatened a vessel passing near one of Ukraine's seaports that Russia considers ships heading to Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea as "potential transporters of military cargo."

The countries whose flags the ships will fly are considered by the Russians to be "involved in the [war] in Ukraine." The decision was made by the Russian Defence Ministry on July 19.

Earlier, the White House warned that Russia could attack civilian vessels in the Black Sea.
