Russian shelling with cluster munitions kills one person in Zaporizhzhia

Russians attacked the village of Rizdvianka. Another man was injured as a result of the shelling of Mala Tokmachka.

In total, the Russians struck 295 times in 8 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied since 2022 and where hostilities are ongoing. There are 13 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.

The settlements of the Donetsk region, where the frontline is located, were attacked by Russians 17 times. Communities in the Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts came under fire. One person was killed in the Mariinka community and another was injured in the Toretsk community. Private houses were damaged.

In Kurylivka, Kharkiv region, which borders on the Russian Federation and is the site of hostilities, a 67-year-old woman was killed in a Russian attack. In total, the Russian army attacked 17 settlements over the past 24 hours. In the village of Senkove, Kupyansk district, a 49-year-old driver of an emergency medical centre was wounded. Private houses, outbuildings, administrative buildings and the power grid were damaged.

Over the last day, Russians launched 56 attacks on the border areas of the Sumy region bordering Russia. Yunakivka, Khotin, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Svesk, Druzhba and Znob-Novhorod communities came under fire. One person was injured as a result of one of the shelling incidents in the Myropilia community.

In the Chernihiv region, in the north of the country, one of the border villages of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community came under attack. The explosions damaged residential buildings, outbuildings and a shop. There were no casualties.

In the Odesa region, south of Ukraine, a drone attack in the Odesa district damaged the buildings of a recreational facility. There was a fire, but it was quickly extinguished. The recreational facility has not operated since the start of the full-scale invasion. A private house with a pier and outbuildings was also damaged in the recreational area.

In the Mykolaiv region, also in the south, the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities came under attack. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, which has been partially occupied since 2022 and is the site of hostilities, Russians shelled Antonivka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Lvove, Tomyna Balka, Tiahynka, Havrylivka, Bilozerka, Honcharne, Dniprovske, Zelenivka, Stepanivka, Sadove, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Pryozerne, Blahovishchenske, Stanislav and Kherson. Eight multi-storey buildings, 18 private houses, an educational institution and cars were damaged. One person was injured.

On March 4, Russians shelled Nikopol and the Marhanets community in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A private enterprise, nine houses, outbuildings, a minibus, a garage, several power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged. There were no casualties. At night, the Russians struck Nikopol with multiple rocket launchers, causing no casualties.
