Russian shelling kills two civilians and injures five others in Zaporizhzhia region

On the night of September 18, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian cities with three X-59/69 guided missiles and 52 Shahed-131/136 combat UAVs. As a result of the Ukrainian Air Force's counterattack, 46 combat UAVs were shot down, 5 more lost radar contact, and one returned to Russia. The guided missiles did not reach their targets, but there was damage to agricultural equipment. There were no casualties or injuries.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians attacked Prymorske, Novoiakovlivka, Komyshuvakha, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Poltavka, and Malynivka with UAVs, aircraft, MLRS, and artillery. Two civilians were killed, and five others were injured as a result of Russian shelling. There was also damage to infrastructure and residential buildings.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Russian troops shelled Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Sadove, Kizomys, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Honcharne, Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Tavriiske, Zolota Balka, and Havrylivka. One civilian was killed, and four others were injured in the shelling. The Russian military hit a social and medical institution, a shop, a multi-storey building, private houses, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, garage cooperatives, and private cars.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline, the Russian armed forces attacked Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Lyman, Toretsk, Bilenke, Dachne, Ivanopillia, and Rivne. One civilian was injured as a result of the artillery shelling of Kramatorsk. The shelling damaged private and apartment buildings, an enterprise, an educational institution, critical infrastructure, outbuildings, and power lines.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia to the east, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Tsupivka, Cherkaska Lozova, Odnorobivka, Zahryzove, and Podoly with artillery and guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attacks on Kharkiv and Odnorobivka, ten civilians were injured, including one child. Private and apartment buildings, administrative buildings, and outbuildings were damaged.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russian troops shelled settlements in the communities of Semenivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Snovsk, and Horodnia with artillery, MLRS, mortars, and UAVs. As a result of the shelling of one of the villages in the Semenivka community, a civilian was wounded, and residential and non-residential buildings were damaged.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians attacked the communities of Sumy, Mykolaivka, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, and Shalyhyne with guided aerial bombs, MRLS, UAVs, mortars, and artillery. One civilian was injured as a result of shelling in the Krasnopillia community. There is no information about the damage.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the city of Nikopol, as well as the communities of Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka with artillery and UAVs. The shelling damaged the administrative building and outbuildings. Residents of the communities were not injured.
In the Cherkasy region in the centre of Ukraine, located along the Dnieper River, the forest litter caught fire as a result of the fall of the wreckage of a Russian UAV Shahed, no one was injured.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russia attacked the territory of the region with an X-59 missile and a UAV. As a result of the fall of cruise missile debris, agricultural machinery was damaged. There were no casualties.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russian army attacked Nevske, Tverdokhlibove, and Makiivka with artillery, aircraft, MLRS, and UAVs. There is no information on casualties or damage.
