Russian shelling kills eleven people in Donetsk region

Air defence forces downed 24 out of 27 Shahed attack drones in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, and Mykolaiv regions. The Sumyoblenergo, engaged in the supply of electricity to the population and legal entities, reported over 348 settlements in the Sumy region and part of the city of Sumy were left without electricity due to shelling. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians launched 19 attacks with guided aerial bombs on Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, and Slatyn. Private houses, administrative buildings and warehouses were damaged. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.

In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, Russians struck 2,326 times at Kostiantynivka, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Siversk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Ukrainsk, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, Druzhba, Shcherbynivka, Veselyi Hai, Vovchenka, Yelizavetivka, Ivanivka, Zoria, Komarove, Mykolayivka, Myroliubivka, Perebudova, Predtechyn, Rozlyv, Sontsivka, Stupochky, and Urozhaine. They used MLRS, guided bombs and artillery. 91 residential buildings, 9 shops, administrative buildings, an enterprise, an educational institution, a pharmacy, a cafe, a market, a service station, and vehicles were damaged. 43 people were injured, and 11 people were killed.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians struck 134 times at Nevske, Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, and Kuzemivka with MLRS, artillery, attack drones, and mortars. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. It is impossible to assess the damage due to the intense shelling of the settlements.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, the Russians used artillery and attack drones to shell Marhanets, Pokrovske, and Nikopol communities next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. Two people were wounded.

In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russians launched 371 attacks on Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novovasylivske, Nesterianka, Stepnohirsk and Novoandriivka. Private houses were damaged. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. 

In the Mykolaiv region, air defence forces destroyed an X-59 guided missile and a reconnaissance drone. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Sadove, Antonivka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Mykilske, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Kreshchenivka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Chervone, Vysoke, Charivne, Mykolaivka, Tomaryne, and Kherson. The Beryslav district was hit by a rocket attack. One person was killed and five were injured.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled Semenivka and Snovske communities with mortars. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians struck 45 times at the Khotin, Bilopillya, Krasnopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Novosloboda and Shalyhyne communities with artillery, mortars, drones and unguided missiles. A car was damaged. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
