Russian shelling in Kherson region injures 11 including 3 children

The Russian army shelled Kherson in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, and towns in the region: Zolota Balka, Pryozerne, Komyshany, Sadove, Tiahynka, Odradokamyinka, Antonivka, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Veletenske, Khreshchenivka, Shyroka Balka, Nova Kuban, Lvove, Novotiahynka, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Beryslav, Bruskynske, Novoberyslav.
The shelling damaged four high-rise buildings and 58 private houses, critical infrastructure facilities, an educational institution, an invincibility point, a playground and a shop, commercial and storage facilities, garages and private vehicles.
Air defence forces downed a Shahed-131/136 over the region during an overnight drone strike.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russian army targeted the communities of Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka. No casualties were reported.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located, as well as the Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovsk communities. That caused damage to 13 apartment buildings, a private house, a stall, a notary office and an administrative building, two cars, gas pipelines, power lines, seven outbuildings and four greenhouses. Several civilians suffered injuries, including children aged one and ten.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russians shelled Lyman, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Zoria, Katerynivka, Mykolaivka, Novyi Komar and Novoukrainka. They damaged 35 civilian objects, shops, outbuildings, lock-ups, cars, a gas pipeline and power lines. Three civilians were injured.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians carried out 573 attacks on Kamianske, Bilenke, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka and Prymorske. Eight residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were destroyed.
In the Luhansk region in the east, almost completely occupied by Russia, Nevske and Makiivka came under Russian shelling.
In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Ochakiv. One private house and one motorbike were damaged. There were no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Russians opened fire on 19 settlements. An educational institution, a garage of a private company and an electric transformer were damaged. The Sumy regional police reported no casualties.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Russians shelled Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Stetskivka and Symynivka with missiles and guided aerial bombs. An infrastructure facility, private houses and power lines were damaged. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
