Russian shelling causes a large-scale fire near Kherson — the city is covered in smoke

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, Bilozerka, Shyroka Balka, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Zelenivka, Zymivnyk, Zorivka, Mykilske, Novodmitrivka, Beryslav, Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Andriivka, Tomaryne, Novoraisk, and Kherson came under Russian attack.
Critical infrastructure facilities, a multistory building, 23 private houses, and private cars were damaged. Ten people got injured.
A large-scale fire broke out in an open area outside Kherson as a result of Russian shelling. The smoke covered almost the entire city.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Nikopol and the communities of Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovske. Industrial and utility facilities, a hospital, a sports school, apartment blocks, private houses, a gas pipeline, and a power line were damaged. The shelling caused fire. Three people were wounded, including a one-and-a-half-year-old boy.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in Ochakiv on a non-working outbuilding and dry grass. In Ivanivka, a village club and a kindergarten were damaged. In Solonchaky, a fire broke out on the roof of a residential building. There were no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians fired 470 times at Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Bilenke. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged. There were no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myroillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, and Esman. Four residential buildings and two shops were damaged. A total of 110 attacks were recorded in 27 settlements in the region.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka. A total of 41 explosions were recorded.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians used 83 UAVs near Nevske and Makiivka and fired from cannon artillery and rocket launchers at Makiivka.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline, the Russians attacked Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Siversk, Selydove, Toretsk, Veselyi Hai, Marynivka, Markove, Mykolaivka, and Rusyn Yar. The shellings damaged 29 residential buildings, an enterprise, a shopping centre, shops, a car wash, a cultural centre, a delivery service, cars, a gas pipeline, and a power line. Forty-two people were injured, and 14 died. A total of 2849 attacks were recorded over the day.
