Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group shoots dead a Ukrainian civilian 500 metres from the border

On January 10, a Russian reconnaissance group shot a civilian man in his car in the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv region, which borders Russia in the north.

The head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district administration, Serhii Serhiienko, said this in a commentary to Suspilne.

It happened between the villages of Hremiachka and Leonivka. From there, the border with Russia is about 500 metres away.

"The man had managed to take his child to the bus to Semenivka and was returning to Kostobobrov. Unfortunately, we lost the man," said Serhii Serhiienko.

The deceased worked as a school bus driver in the village of Kostobobrov.

It will be recalled that on the night of January 11, the Russian army shelled the two border communities of the Semenivka and Snovsk. Ukrainians recorded at least 92 explosions, probably from mortars, artillery and grenade launchers.
