Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Beijing on a visit
Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Chinese capital Beijing on a visit.
This was reported by Russian propaganda media.
Putin is expected to stay in Beijing for two days. There, he will take part in the One Belt – One Road international forum and hold talks with the leaders of China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Laos, and others.
This is Putin's second trip abroad since the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for him in March 2023. The first trip was to Kyrgyzstan a few days ago. However, neither Kyrgyzstan nor China are signatories to the Rome Statute, so Putin cannot be arrested in these countries.
