On the night of August 2, the Russian military damaged almost 40,000 tonnes of grain in the ports of the Odesa region.

This was reported by Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

"The photos show the destroyed infrastructure of the Danube cluster ports. Last night, Russia attacked them with Iranian drones. These are the ports that have become the basis of global food security today," Kubrakov wrote.

The grain was to be delivered to Africa, China, and Israel.

The port of Izmail suffered the most damage during the attack. The seaport and infrastructure of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company, a Ukrainian cargo carrier on the Danube, were also damaged.

As a reminder, on the night of August 2, the Russian army attacked the Odesa region with Shaheed drones.
