Russian drones crash and detonate in Romania

During a night attack on the port of Izmail, Russian drones crashed and detonated in Romania.

This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleh Nikolenko, citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

This happened during the Russian attack on the port infrastructure of the Odesa region on the night of September 4.

"Russian missile terror poses a huge threat not only to the security of Ukraine but also to the security of neighbouring countries, including NATO member states," Nikolenko wrote.

The Romanian Defence Ministry firmly condemned the "unjustified" attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. At the same time, the ministry said that the strikes "did not pose any direct military threats" to Romania.

It will be recalled that on August 23, the Russians launched another attack on the port of Izmail in the Odesa region. The attack destroyed 13,000 tonnes of grain.
