Russian Defence Ministry reports drone attacks in Moscow and Leningrad regions

Russian air defences allegedly shot down drones in Moscow and Leningrad regions. Air defence systems allegedly were also seen operating in the Belgorod region.

It was the first time a drone attack had taken place in the Leningrad region. Russian Telegram channels report that the drone fell on the territory of the St Petersburg oil terminal and exploded there.

Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that Russian air defence forces shot down 10 missiles. He specified that there were allegedly injuries and damage to residential buildings caused by Russian air defence operations.

The governor of Leningrad region, Aleksandr Drozdenko, said that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack.
