Russian attack kills two and wounds three in Dnipropetrovsk region

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Marhanets, Myrove and Kryvyi Rih communities.  

The shelling caused damage to high-rise buildings, private homes, a fire station, a college, a school, buses, infrastructure, enterprises, a post office, a shop, a car, a greenhouse, utility buildings, a non-residential building, and a power line. Two civilians were killed and two others sustained injuries. 

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community, the Kutsurub community, Parutyne, and Dniprovske. A non-working kindergarten and an outbuilding were damaged. No casualties were reported.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian troops wounded a civilian as a result of the shelling. A private house and a low-pressure gas pipeline were damaged. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the Kupiansk district, the Kurylivka community, and Hlushkivka. A private house sustained damage. 

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Mylove, Tiahynka, Lvove, Mykhailivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Burhunka, Bilozerka, Sadove, Shliakhove, Kachkarivka, Havrylivka, Veletenske, Zelenivka, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Mykilske, Mykolaiivka, and Kozatske. 19 private houses, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a service station, a lock-up and private cars were damaged. Three civilians suffered injuries.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russia targeted the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities.

In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army shelled Kurakhove, Lyman, Selydove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the villages of Berestok, Bohoiavlenka, Vovchenka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Marynivka, Stavky, and Stinky. 37 residential buildings, an outpatient clinic, an educational institution, non-residential premises, vehicles, and communication networks were damaged. Five civilians were injured.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russia launched 448 attacks on Lobkove, Piatykhatky, Malynivka, Bilenke, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Huliaipilske, Plavni, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhove, Zaliznychne, Preobrazhenka, Omelnyk and Myrne. Fifteen residential buildings were destroyed. 

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians shelled Makiivka and Nevske.
