Russian attack in Pavlohrad on September 6 leaves 74 civilians injured

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Nikopol, Pavlohrad, and the communities of Marhanets, Myrove, and Pokrovske. The shelling damaged infrastructure, two houses, two trade pavilions, outbuildings, and a poultry farm. A house and a car were on fire. The shellings resulted in 75 civilians being injured.

In the Cherkasy region in the centre of Ukraine, forest litter caught fire as a result of the fall of Russian UAV wreckage.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi. A house and outbuildings burned as a result of the attack.

In the Kyiv region, the debris from the downed drones damaged seven private houses‚ windows were smashed, doors and roofs were damaged. A fire broke out in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, as a result of the downing of Russian drones. Grass fires broke out outside the settlements.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Liubotyn, Kivsharivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Borova, Kupiansk, Kolodiazne, Novoosynove, and the community of Solonytsivka. Private houses, cars and outbuildings were damaged. Large areas of grass and pine litter were burning. Eight civilians were injured in the shelling, including children aged 16 and 14.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Stelmakhivka, Andriivka, Novoiehorivka, Nevske, and Makiivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians shelled Prymorske, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Novodanylivka, Stepnohirsk, and Zelene. Twelve residential buildings were destroyed. Russia launched 265 attacks during the day.

In the Khmelnytskyi region in the west of Ukraine, the Russians launched attacks with Shahed combat drones. The places where the debris fell are being identified. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, Russia attacked Kherson, Tokarivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Tiahynka, Antonivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Mykilske, Tomyna Balka, Havrylivka, Oleksandrivka, Prydniprovske, Rakivka, Burhunka, Urozhaine, and Vesele. Critical infrastructure facilities, a shop, a multi-storey building, 11 private houses, garages, buses, and private cars were damaged. Eight civilians were wounded.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Myropillia, Boromlia, Velyka Pysarivka, Khotin, Krasnopillia, Esman, Bilopillia, Yampil, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Berezivka, Druzhba, Seredyna-Buda, and Svesa. Six civilians were injured, including two children. One civilian was killed.

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline, the Russians attacked Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Selydove, Toretsk, Raihorodok, Bohoiavlenka, Izmailivka, and Rivne. Twenty-nine residential buildings, educational institutions, and critical infrastructure were damaged. Three civilians were killed, and three others were injured.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Ochakiv and the community of Kutsurub. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
