Russian attack in Donetsk region leaves three dead and nine wounded

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russian troops shelled Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, Kurakhivka, Hannivka, Dibrova, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Rozlyv, and Toretske. Thirty-six residential buildings, administrative buildings, an educational institution, garages, vehicles, and power grids were damaged.

Three people were killed, and nine were injured. In total, the Russians struck 2806 times in the region.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russians attacked Nikopol and the communities of Marhanets, Pokrovske, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka. Russia used artillery, kamikaze drones, and a UAV. An industrial enterprise, a non-working warehouse building, a car, a motorcycle, four gas pipelines, five power lines, a solar panel, 11 private houses, and seven outbuildings were damaged, and one was destroyed. A garage and dry grass were on fire as a result of the attacks. There were no casualties. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Russia and Belarus to the north, the Russians shelled Liskivshchyna, Semenivka, Kamin, Hremiach, Pushkari, Karpovych, Mkhy, and Hirsk. Russia used cannon artillery, FPV drones and UAVs to carry out the attacks. A private house and a cell phone tower were damaged.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russian army attacked Kamianske, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Malynivka, Novomykolaivka, Prymorske, and Dolynky. The Russians used aircraft, artillery, MLRS and UAVs to carry out the attacks. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged. There were no casualties. A total of 333 strikes were recorded over the day.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Ochakiv and the community of Kutsurub. Russia used FPV drones and artillery. As a result of the attacks, a residential building was damaged, a fire broke out on the territory of a private household, and a dry grass fire started in an open area. There were no casualties.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army shelled the communities of Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Lebedyn, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, Nova Sloboda, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Druzhba, Myropillia, and Seredyna-Buda. The Russians struck with UAVs, FPV drones, artillery, and mortars, launched unmanned aerial vehicles from a helicopter, and fired rockets.

The shelling damaged 22 private houses, four garages, three outbuildings, a cultural centre, a school, a summer kitchen, a car and a motorbike. One person was killed, and three were injured, including an 11-year-old child. A total of 275 attacks on the region's settlements were recorded.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Novoplatonivka, Kivsharivka, Kupiansk, Sobolivka, Vilne, and Kozacha Lopan came under fire. As a result of the shelling, coniferous forest flooring over an area of more than 9 hectares, grass, houses and outbuildings were burned. Three five-storey residential buildings, two private houses, and the premises and equipment of a landscaping enterprise were damaged. One person was injured.

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Kherson, Antonivka, Stepanivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Pryozerne, Stanislav, Poniativka, Tomyna Balka, Nova Kamianka, Dudchany, Lvove, Novokairy, Mykhailivka, Kreschenivka, Mykolaivka came under Russian fire and air strikes. Educational institutions, a shop, 49 private houses, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a bus, private cars, and agricultural machinery were damaged. Three people were injured in the shelling. 

In the Luhansk region,  almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Stelmakhivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka and Nevske. The Russian army shelled Nevske and Makiivka with artillery.
