Russia to conduct the so-called “early voting” in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine during the Russian presidential elections

Moscow, Russia (Svidomi) — The Russian authorities plan to conduct the so-called “early voting” in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions within the framework of the Russian presidential elections.

In Russia, the voting will last for three days from March 15th to 17th. However, in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions, the “voting” will begin earlier. The occupation administrations will determine the specific dates.

Russians plan that not only locals but also Russian army soldiers and civilian contractors dispatched from Russia will “vote” in the temporarily occupied regions.

“Voters” in the temporarily occupied territories will be able to “vote” either in advance at home or directly at the polling station during the main three days of voting.
