Russia shells Vilkovo, Odesa region. Two civilians injured
On the night of July 25, the Russian army shelled Ukraine with 38 Shahed-131/136 attack drones. The Air Defence Forces reported the destruction of 25 attack drones in the Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions. Another three attack drones were lost after crossing the state border with Romania.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians struck Kharkiv, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk, Prykolotne, Mala Danylivka, Lozova, and Podoly. In Kharkiv, guided bombs and rockets with cluster munitions damaged a business, private houses, cars and lock-ups. Twelve people suffered. In Lozova, a missile attack injured six people and killed three. In Podoly, artillery shelling killed one civilian.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, Russians launched 2,812 attacks on Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Novohrodivka, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Hrodivka, Illinivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Novoukrainka, and Shevchenkove. That caused damage to 12 residential buildings, an outbuilding, cars, a gas pipeline, and a power grid. Three people received injuries.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians struck Nevske and Makiivka with artillery, aircraft and combat drones, destroying two private homes. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located, and also the Marhanets, Pokrovske and Myrove communities. They damaged private houses, a gymnasium, a social institution, an enterprise, and solar panels. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army conducted 455 attacks on Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka and Levadne. Private houses were damaged. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russians shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Komyshany, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Veletenske, Mykhailivka, Stanislav, Romashkove, Inhulets, Tyahynka, Sadove, Urozhaine, Havrylivka and Kherson. Three multi-storey buildings and 17 private houses, a gas pipeline, warehouses, outbuildings and private cars were damaged. Six people were injured and one person was killed.
In the Odesa region, south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Vilkovo, Izmaiil district, with combat drones. The port infrastructure and private houses were damaged. Two people suffered injuries.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired on the Snovske, Semenivka, and Novhorod-Siverskyi communities. No casualties were reported.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians launched 232 attacks on 27 settlements, damaging four private houses and a warehouse. The regional police report no casualties.
