Russia prepares further provocations at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP — Energoatom

On December 7, several multiple rocket launchers, "Grad", were brought to the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP.

According to the Ukrainian National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom, they were placed near Unit 6, and the spent fuel storage facility, violating all conditions for the organisation of nuclear and radiation safety.

"The most likely provocation that is being prepared is shelling of the opposite bank of the Dnipro, in particular the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets, with these Grad systems directly from the ZNPP site, using the power units and spent fuel storage facility as a "cover," the company said.
