Russia may have identified Bakhmut as a priority area for its offensive efforts since August — British intelligence

Russian troops continue to concentrate a significant part of their overall military efforts and firepower on an approximately 15-kilometer stretch of the fortified front line around Bakhmut.

"The Russian plan is probably to surround the town with a tactical advance to the north and south. Recently, Russia has most likely made a small advance on the southern axis of this offensive," the report said. Forces to fight cyber attacks and strengthen overall cyber security capabilities.
