Russia kills three civilians in Kryvyi Rih — two pensioners and one child. Another eight civilians were injured, including one child

On the night of September 21, Russia attacked Ukrainian cities with four Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, five X-59/69 guided missiles, and 16 Shahed combat UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force managed to shoot down 5 X-59/69 guided missiles and 11 combat UAVs, while five more drones lost radar contact.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the city of Kryvyi Rih was hit by a Russian night attack. Russian shelling killed three civilians — two pensioners and a child. Three more civilians were injured, including one child. Private houses, a school, garages and vehicles were destroyed or damaged. Also, on September 21, the Russian armed forces attacked the regional center and the Nikopol district. In Dnipro, an educational center came under fire. Three civilians were injured. In the Nikopol region, the Russian army shelled Nikopol and the communities of Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, Myrove, and Marhanets with artillery and UAVs. Two civilians were injured as a result of the Russian attacks. Private and apartment buildings, outbuildings, gas stations, and vehicles were damaged.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia to the east, the Russians massively shelled Kharkiv, Novoosynove, Ivashky, and Shestakove on September 21. As a result of the attacks on Kharkiv, 14 civilians were injured, including three children. In other settlements, two civilians were killed, and seven others were injured. Private houses, a hospital, a hotel, shops, a market, a warehouse, cowsheds, and transport were destroyed. 

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline, the Russian armed forces attacked Bilytske, Hirnyk, Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Selydove, Siversk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Andriivka, Bohoiavlenka, Hannivka, Novoukrainka, and Trudove. As a result of attacks by air, artillery, MLRS, and UAVs, 17 civilians were injured in the region. Private and apartment buildings, a church, educational institutions, a hospital, a post office, social infrastructure facilities, a shopping center, a communications company, trade pavilions, a market, a shop, administrative buildings, enterprises, garages, a boiler house, transport, a gas pipeline, and a power line were damaged.

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Russia shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Dudchany, Oleksandrivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Mykilske, Novokairy, Dniprovske, Rozlyv, Odradokamianka, Tomyna Balka, Novoberyslav, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Kozatske, Kizomys, Dariivka, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Pryozerne, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Lvove, and Tomaryne. As a result of Russian aggression, two civilians were killed, and seven others were injured. Residential buildings, the humanitarian headquarters, a social laundry, and vehicles were damaged.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Russia attacked the communities of Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Trostianets, Buryn, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda with aircraft, UAVs, artillery and tanks. One civilian died as a result of the attacks in the community of Myropillia. There is no information about the damage. 

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army struck the Bashtanka district. The enemy attacks destroyed the warehouse of an agricultural enterprise. There were no casualties.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russian troops attacked Piatykhatky, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Malynivka with UAVs, aircraft, MLRS, and artillery. In total, the Russians launched 322 attacks on eight settlements. As a result of Russian aggression, infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged or destroyed, and no civilians were injured. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russian troops fired artillery, mortars, and UAVs at border villages in the communities of Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. There is no information on damage or casualties. 

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russian army attacked Makiivka, Hrekivka, Stelmakhivka, and Balka Zhuravka with artillery and UAVs. There is no information on casualties or damage.
