Russia has put up weapons for sale at an exhibition in the United Arab Emirates

Associated Press news agency reported this.

The IDEX (The International Defense Exhibition) is held every two years. This year, Russia has put up for sale, in particular, Kalashnikov assault rifles and missile systems, despite the fact that the West has imposed sanctions on the country because of the war against Ukraine.

To get to the Russian exhibition tent, the fair attendees had to leave the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and walk across a skybridge to an outdoor area.

Russian representatives delayed Associated Press journalists when they tried to enter their tent during the event.

The AP journalists saw Russian Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov, who is under US and UK sanctions, at the event.
