Russia has destroyed or damaged 50% of Ukraine's energy system — Denys Shmyhal

Since October 10, Russia has launched over a thousand missiles at Ukrainian energy facilities. There were nine massive waves of missile strikes, as well as a dozen smaller attacks that damaged up to 50% of Ukraine's energy system.

Currently, the energy sector of Ukraine calls the deficit of generating and network capacities a problem in the functioning of the system. We are talking about a deficit of several gigawatts, including due to the lack of generation at Zaporizhzhia NPP.
