Andrii Yusov, a representative of Ukraine's military intelligence, reported this in a comment to Kyiv Post.

According to the estimates of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Russians may use aviation to support their ground forces in the east of Ukraine.

MDI noted that Vladimir Putin aims to capture the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the end of March. However, MDI representative Andrii Yusov predicts that Moscow's attempt to occupy the eastern regions of Ukraine will fail, with or without planes.

"Russia will not succeed in implementing this plan. To defend Ukraine, we need to strengthen not only our air defense, but also aviation in particular," Yusov added.
