Russia has caused more than 35.3 billion dollars of damage to Ukrainian ecology — Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov

Currently, millions of hectares of nature reserves in Ukraine are under threat. 

Reznikov also added that Article 55 of Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions prohibits waging war against the natural environment through repression. 

"Millions of hectares of nature reserves are under threat. Article 55 of Protocol I prohibits waging war against the natural environment through repression, but Russia does not care," Reznikov wrote on his Twitter page.
