Russia has attacked nine regions of Ukraine. There are dead and wounded

On the night of March 27, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 10 out of 13 Shahed UAVs. Air defences were activated in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions. 

Russians launched a missile attack on Kharkiv, 30 km from the border with Russia. A residential building was damaged. A 64-year-old man got injured. Approximately 15 settlements in the region came under fire from UAVs, MLRS, missiles and other weapons. Three people were wounded in Izium, Kupiansk and Oleksandrivka. Residential buildings, educational institutions, a factory, and a car were damaged. 

Russian shelling during the day in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, killed two people in Novohrodivka and wounded another person in the region.  

Russian troops conducted 386 strikes in seven settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied since 2022 and is home to Europe's largest nuclear power plant. Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and other frontline towns and villages came under fire from UAVs, MLRS, artillery and aircraft. Residential buildings and infrastructure were destroyed. There were no civilian casualties.

During the day, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians attacked the Nikopol district, which borders the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region across the Dnipro River, with heavy artillery and UAVs. Residential buildings, outbuildings and power lines were damaged. No one was killed or injured. 

In the Kherson region, which has been partially occupied since 2022 in the south, the Russian army shelled Tiahynka, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Dniprovske, Kherson and other frontline towns and villages. Houses, outbuildings, and cars were damaged. Three people were injured.  

Russians fired mortars at the waters of the Ochakiv community in the Mykolaiv region of the south of Ukraine. There were no casualties.

In the Chernihiv region, which borders Belarus and Russia, Russian troops allegedly fired mortars and cannon artillery at Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities. Ukrainian border guards recorded 18 explosions. 

The Russian army shelled 11 border communities in the Sumy region, which borders Russia to the north. At least 197 explosions were recorded throughout the day. Russians used mortars, artillery, MLRS, UAVs and other weapons. There were no civilian casualties.
