Russia decided to disrupt the Grain Deal back in September, beginning to block the movement of ships with Ukrainian food - President Zelenskyy, in his evening address

Since September, 176 vessels have stuck in the grain corridor. As a result, some grain carriers have been waiting for more than three weeks.

"This is a conscious blockade of Russia. Russia's transparent intention is to return the threat of large-scale famine for Africa and Asia," the President emphasises.

On October 29, more than 2 million tons of food are held in the sea. That is, access to food has deteriorated for more than 7 million consumers. In particular, this concerns Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

At least twice during the "grain initiative", Russia has attacked the Ukrainian Navy, which guarantees the security of exports.

The President of Ukraine emphasised that there must be a harsh international reaction to Russia's withdrawal from the Grain Deal.
