Russia classifies the case against Igor Girkin, former leader of the illegal armed group 'DPR'

In Russia, the investigation has classified the criminal case materials against Igor Girkin as top secret.

Aleksandr Molokhov, his lawyer, said this in a commentary to the Russian media outlet RBK-Novosti.

Molokhov refused to comment further because he had allegedly signed a document on 'non-disclosure of state secrets'.

As a reminder, Igor Girkin (Strelkov) is suspected of extremist activity. On July 21, the Meshchansky Court in Moscow placed him in custody until September 18.
