Russia buys Starlink in Arab countries
Kyiv, Ukraine (Svidomi) — Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate has established that Russia is purchasing Starlink satellite internet terminals through Arab countries.
In one of the radio intercepts received by the intelligence service, the Russians discussed the potential purchase of Starlink terminals.
The cost of purchasing Starlink is 200,000 rubles (almost 2,200 US dollars — ed.).
Earlier, social media users claimed that they could already "see" activated Starlink in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia. Svidomi covered the topic in their explainer.
Later, SpaceX owner Elon Musk made a post on his X that Starlink was not sold in Russia.
"To the best of our knowledge, no Starlinks have been sold directly or indirectly to Russia," he said.
