Romanian Prime Minister to visit Kyiv to finalise agreement on further exports of Ukrainian grain to Romania
Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, together with several ministers, will come to Kyiv to finalise the agreement on further exports of Ukrainian grain to Romania.
Digi24 reported this.
Ciolacu holds daily talks with Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal on the issue of exports. At the same time, Romanian ministers of agriculture and economy talk to their Ukrainian counterparts on a daily basis on the same issue.
On September 18, it was reported that Romania may extend the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products for 30 days.
"We are going to sign a memorandum and a dual licensing system both in Ukraine and Romania within these 30 days," Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said.
It will be recalled that unlike Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, Romania did not impose national embargoes after the European Commission lifted the restrictions.
