Reuters: Iran sends 400 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles to Russia

Dubai, UAE (Svidomi) — Iran has transferred around 400 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles to Russia, Reuters reports, citing six sources, including Iranian ones.
These are missiles of the Fateh-110 family, including allegedly hypersonic Zolfaghar missiles. According to experts, these missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of between 300 and 700 km.
The shipments began in early January, the sources said. There have been at least four missile transfers, and there will be more in the coming weeks.
Another senior Iranian official said some of the missiles were sent to Russia by ship via the Caspian Sea, while others were transported by plane.
In early January, White House national security spokesman John Kirby said that the United States was concerned that Russia was close to acquiring short-range ballistic weapons from Iran in addition to the missiles it had already received from North Korea.
Russia and Iran allegedly signed a missile deal last autumn.
