Protests against judicial reform continue in Israel

On July 9, regular demonstrations against judicial reform in Israel took place.

This was reported by The Times of Israel.

According to various estimates, between 140 and 180 thousand people joined the demonstrations in Tel Aviv alone.

"We are allowed to and must be angry for what the Netanyahu government is doing to the Israeli dream," said Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari during a speech in Tel Aviv.

The historian called for "stopping the Netanyahu government".

On Monday, July 10, the Israeli parliament plans to hold the first vote on a bill that would limit the right of the Supreme Court to overturn decisions of the government and ministers.

The organisers called yesterday's demonstration a "prelude" to Tuesday's national protests and "disruptions" and vowed to fight the reform by all means available.
