Prime Minister Kallas' party wins parliamentary elections in Estonia
The Reform Party, headed by current Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, won 31.2% of the vote, or 37 seats in the Riigikogu. This is three more than in the previous parliament.
Public broadcaster ERR reported this.
The Conservative People's Party of Estonia (EKRE) received 16.1% of the vote, which means 17 seats in the Riigikogu, or two fewer than in the previous parliament.
The Centre Party came in third with 15.3% of the vote. This means 16 seats for the party, or 10 fewer than in the previous Riigikogu.
The Social Democratic Party, which received 9.3% of the total vote, and the conservative nationalist political party Isamaa also entered the new Estonian parliament.
