The Office of the President has published the text of the Ukrainian " Formula for Peace" discussed by the participants of the Jeddah summit.
It provides for the following steps:
- Ukrainian NPPs should operate under the sovereign control of Ukraine;
- Ukraine must regain control of its seaports;
- Ukraine's energy infrastructure must be protected;
- all Ukrainian citizens held in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories must be released;
- Ukraine's territorial integrity must be restored over its entire territory within its internationally recognised borders;
- Russia must immediately withdraw all its armed forces from Ukraine;
- Russia must be held accountable for all violations of international law in Ukraine;
- the world should support Ukraine in countering the environmental consequences of the war;
- Ukraine should be provided with security commitments and guarantees;
- the end of the war should be confirmed at a conference to be held with the participation of the widest possible range of countries.
To recap, all the participants of the Jeddah summit agreed on the statement on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but there are points on which they did not agree.
One of these points is the punishment of the Russian political leadership and reparations to Ukraine.
