President of Ukraine had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived in Kyiv on a visit. This is the first official visit of the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

"We appreciate this visit and consider it an important evidence of support for Ukraine, especially on the anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale aggression. I hope that it will give a new impetus to further intensification of our mutually beneficial dialogue," the President emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia for supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia's armed aggression. The parties paid special attention to the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula.

The President also expressed hope that Saudi Arabia would join the Ukrainian grain initiative to supply grain to African countries suffering from hunger.

The two sides also discussed Saudi participation in Ukraine's post-war recovery, as well as access to promising projects in the investment, agricultural, and energy sectors.
