Polish justice minister says missile that crashed in Przewodów in 2022 was Ukrainian
Poland has announced that it has completed an investigation into the missile that crashed in Przewodów in 2022. The missile turned out to be Ukrainian.
This was stated by Polish Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro during a press conference in Lublin.
"This missile was Ukrainian - of Soviet or Russian manufacture. As for the place of launch and affiliation with a particular military group, it was a Ukrainian missile," Ziobro said.
He also added that the Ukrainian side allegedly did not take an active part in the investigation.
"I am sorry, but there was no cooperation in this for many months," the Minister commented.
It will be recalled that in November 2022, missile debris fell in Poland near the border with Ukraine. Two people were killed. After that, Poland launched an investigation into the origin of the missile.
Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that the incident was not a deliberate attack on Poland.
