Polish General Piotr Trytek headed the EU mission to train the Ukrainian military

Rmf24.pl reported this citing the decision of the Political and Security Committee of the EU.

At the first stage of the mission, in November, it is planned to train almost 15,000 Ukrainian servicemen.

The mission's budget is €106 million for two years. Most exercises will take place in Poland at the Nowa Dęba training ground in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (bordering Ukraine).

In particular, Ukrainians will be prepared to counter chemical and nuclear threats.
