Police detained a 74-year-old pensioner in Spain who may have sent bloody letters to the Ukrainian embassy

In Spain, a 74-year-old man was detained, who is suspected of sending letters with explosives, in particular to the address of the Ukrainian embassy.
The El Pais newspaper writes about it.
The man was arrested in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos province) in the north of the country. The Spanish police believe he is the author of six letters with pyrotechnic materials. The police are currently searching his place of residence.
According to media reports, the arrested man, a Spanish citizen, allegedly acted alone and is not affiliated with any group.
