Poland to add border crossings with Ukraine to list of critical infrastructure

Warsaw, Poland (Svidomi) — The Polish government will add border crossings with Ukraine to the list of critical infrastructure. It should improve the transport of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that on March 28, representatives of the governments of Poland and Ukraine will meet in Warsaw to discuss the situation.

"The Ukrainian side is well aware that continuing these negotiations at the technical and organisational level is better. This is not a symbolic meeting. We do not need symbolism in our relations. The whole world is watching and seeing how determined we are to help Ukraine," the Polish Prime Minister explained why the meeting would not occur in the near future and not at the border, as proposed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Prime Minister claims that "Poland fully ensures the transport of weapons and humanitarian aid to Ukraine". The checkpoints on the border with Ukraine will be added to the list of critical infrastructure in the coming hours.
