Poland disposes of 30 tonnes of Ukrainian corn dumped on tracks by protesters in Kotomierz

Warsaw, Poland (Svidomi) — Ukrainian corn, spilled from wagons onto the tracks by protesters at the Kotomierz railway station, near Bydgoszcz, a city in northern Poland, has been collected. However, 30 tonnes could not be recovered, so it is being disposed of.

In total, the protesters dumped 160 to 180 tonnes of corn. Some of it was collected. The corn was being transported from Ukraine to Morocco.

According to the Polish police, the wagons were opened by "third parties" because the holding ropes were cut.

The police launched an investigation into the damage to property.
