Poland demands explanations from Russia over Russian missile that violated its airspace
Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Władysław Bartoszewski handed over a note of protest to Russian Charge d'Affaires in Poland Andrei Ordash.
The press service of the Polish Foreign Ministry reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands explanations for the incident with the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Poland by a cruise missile and an immediate cessation of such actions,
the statement reads.
Russia is demanding hard evidence that the missile was Russian. Until then, Russia will not provide any explanations. Andrei Ordash called the statements of the Polish side "unfounded accusations". His words were reported by the Russian propaganda outlet RIA Novosti.
It will be recalled that on December 29, during a massive attack on Ukraine, a Russian missile violated Polish airspace and returned to Ukraine three minutes later.
