Over the past 24 hours, Russians attacked Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons. There was damage to private homes and injuries

The Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under fire.

In Mykolaiv, Ukraine's south, the wreckage of a Shahed-131/136 UAV fell on the territory of the private sector. A residential building and two cars caught fire that was later extinguished. 11 people were injured. Two people were taken to hospital and the rest were treated on the spot. Private houses nearby were also damaged. In the region, Russians shelled the water area of the Ochakiv community with artillery. There were no casualties. In the Mykolaiv district, a UAV attack caused a fire on the territory of an energy facility. The fire has been extinguished. No one was injured.

In the Odesa region, south-west of Ukraine, a UAV attack damaged energy infrastructure. As a result, there is no electricity supply in part of Odesa, a major seaport, and some settlements in the region. Electric transport does not run in the city. The fire has been extinguished and no one was injured. Restoration and repair works are ongoing.

Last night, the air defence system shot down 8 out of 9 Shahed attack UAVs in the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the north, the enemy attacked over 15 settlements. Russians attacked Zolochiv and Kozacha Lopana with guided aerial bombs, damaging five private houses and a power line. There were no casualties.

In the frontline Donetsk region, Russians attacked the Mariinka, Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar and Toretsk communities destroying private houses.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia in the north, the border areas were shelled 17 times over the day. The military recorded 61 explosions. Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Novosloboda, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda and Svesa communities suffered from shelling. No casualties or damage were reported.

On March 24, three villages in two border communities of the Chernihiv region, Semenivka and Snovske, bordering Russia in the north, were shelled with mortars and automatic grenade launchers Border guards recorded 62 explosions. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, Russians shelled Novovorontsovka, Oleksandrivka, Novoberyslav, Shyroka Balka, Veletenske, Poniativka, Sadove, Sofiivka, Zolota Balka, Dniprovske and Kherson. One multi-storey building and four private houses were damaged. There were also hits to critical infrastructure and vehicles. There were no casualties.

In the frontline Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian army conducted 258 strikes on nine settlements. There are five reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure. There were no casualties.

On March 24, Russians attacked the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, 18 times. An apartment building, seven private houses, a couple of outbuildings, two private enterprises, an infrastructure facility, a shop, cars, and power lines got damaged. There were no casualties. At night, Russians attacked the Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrove communities. There were no casualties.
