On the night of May 29, Russian troops fired up to 40 X-101/X-555 missiles and 35 Iranian Shahed-136/131 drones at Ukrainian
Air defence units destroyed 67 air targets:
- 37 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles;
- 29 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs
- 1 reconnaissance UAV of operational and tactical level.
Air defence forces detected over 40 air targets in the sky over Kyiv. All of them are downed.
As a result of falling debris, the roof of a residential building in the Podilskyi district of the capital was damaged. There were no casualties. Debris also fell in the Sviatoshynskyi district, causing a fire.
In the south of Ukraine, three kamikaze drones were destroyed over the Mykolaiv region and one over the Odesa region.
In the Lviv region, in the Zolochiv district, rocket fragments fell on a wooden outbuilding, and it burned down. There are no casualties.
Also, Russians hit several targets in the Khmelnytskyi region, one of them a military facility
Rescuers are currently extinguishing fires at fuel and lubricant warehouses and munitions storage facilities.
The attack put five aircraft out of action.
Work has begun to restore the runway at the site of the hits.
Air defence units shoot down two missiles and a UAV over Poltava region
According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties.
In addition, air defence systems were active in the Vinnytsia region.
