On the night of June 20, Russians targeted Ukrainian energy facilities. Russia shelled 12 Ukrainian regions

The Russian forces launched nine missiles of various types and 27 Shahed-131/136 combat drones at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defence forces downed all combat drones, four X-101/X-555 missiles and one X-59 missile in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava and Vinnytsia regions.

National Power Company Ukrenergo reported that the Russian army had struck at energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions. DTEK, the largest private investor in the energy industry, reported that three employees were injured in the attacks on its thermal power plant.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, the Russians launched a missile attack on the region. Power lines, private houses and cars were damaged. According to the regional military administration, three people were injured. During the day on June 19, the Russians launched artillery and combat drones at the community of Myrove and Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where the Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. Private houses, a solar power plant, power lines and lawns were damaged. 

In the Vinnytsia region, centre of Ukraine, a drone fragment damaged an energy facility. The regional military administration reports no casualties. 

In the Kyiv region, debris from a combat drone damaged power lines. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. 

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians launched 2,107 strikes on Zalizne, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Selidove, Toretsk, Chasivyi Yar, Zarichne, Kurakhivka, Nyzhnyk, Pivnichne, Raihorodok, Shevchenkove, Dachne, Druzhba, Ostrovske, and Rozkoshne. 44 residential buildings, an outpatient clinic, a paramedic station, a vehicle service station, an educational institution, a cultural centre, vehicles and communication lines were damaged and destroyed. Two people were killed and four injured. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Vilkhivka, Novoosynove, Khotimla, Kruhliakivka, and Zahryzove with guided aerial bombs, attack drones and artillery. Private houses and cars were damaged. Five people were injured. One person was killed in Vilkhivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians launched 360 strikes with aircraft, artillery, combat drones and MLRS at Novoandriivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, Orikhove, Levadne, Malynivka and Mali Shcherbaky. Nine private houses were destroyed. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. 

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, Russians shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. Six residential buildings and a paramedic and obstetric station were damaged. The regional military administration reports no casualties. 

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Antonivka, Romashkove, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Veletenske, Oleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Beryslav, Chervonyi Maiak, Olhivka, Mykhailivka, Zmiivka, Respublikanets, Zolota Balka, Lvove, Odradokamianka, Havrylivka, Trudoliubivka, Novomykolaivka, Potomkine, Shliakhove, Mala Oleksandrivka, Novodmytrivka, Mykolaivka and Kherson. Two multi-storey buildings and 14 private houses, a shopping centre, an elevator, a farm and a gas pipeline were damaged. One person was killed and three others were injured.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired mortar shells at the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities. A man sustained injuries. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Russians launched 27 mortar, artillery and attack drones at Mykolaivka, Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Svesa and Seredyna-Buda communities. Private houses suffered damage. There were no casualties reported.
