On the night of 16 May, Russians attacked Kyiv with cruise missiles and drones

The Russian military attacked Ukraine from the north, south and east with 18 missiles of various types of air-, sea- and land-based systems.

Debris was recorded falling in the Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Obolonskyi and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv. The biggest damage was in the Solomianskyi district, where a non-residential building and several vehicles caught fire. The fire has been extinguished.

In the rest of the districts, the damage was not significant - in most of them, debris fell on parked cars, the adjacent territory or the forest park area. There are no reports of casualties.

The Air Force destroyed six Kinzhal, nine Kalibr and three ballistic missiles. In particular, on the night of May 16, Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
