On August 24, for the first time, India voted against Russia in the UN Security Council during the vote on Ukraine

Previously, the country called both on the Russian and Ukrainian sides to return to the path of diplomacy and dialogue.

India is a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, whose term ends this December.
